Never happen. You're not allowed to eat dog in Thailand either, but they still do in some areas. A law is not going to change 100s and 100s of years (or 1000s) of culture AND keep people who are starving from eating a dog.

I fucking love cats but if someone wants to eat them, I'd say go ahead and do your thing. If it's part of your culture or if you're doing it to survive, that's even better. Just don't waste any meat and eat it with respect. If I see you fucking around with a grilled cat I'ma smack you in the face.

Do you have a ritual over your food to release it's soul before you eat it?

For some reason, I think the "respect" that needs to be given, is more on our shoulders.
