Who is the biggest name in UFC
I see there is another ufc fight this weekend.
So I was wondering who the biggest name is UFC is right now? My vote would be Chuck Liddell or Randy Couture however I have been only following the sport for the last year.

Chuck's star is diminishing but I guess he might still be the most well known "name" especially by those that don't really follow MMA.
Personally I'd say Brock Lesnar is the biggest draw these days.

The biggest active or what? Chuck Lidell is of course a legend but ....gets beaten by the most nowdays.
Randy Cotoure still going strong at age 45.. GSP = Best all round and pound for pound. |

I'd argue Anderson Silva as a better pound for pound fighter than GSP.
Biggest NAME in MMA, no skill considered, just the most recognized name. I'd have to give it to Randy now. He's been around for a while, plus he's got the whole acting gig on the side with some big name flicks under his belt too. Brock could easily be sliding into that spot though, he did have a big following already before coming to ufc, but i don't necessarily know that hisname is overly associated with MMA... yet., |

Excellent question, tough one to answer though, depends on which angle you look at it from I guess and there are many of em to do so from.

Id also go now Anderson Silva. All time Randy.
Lesner is gonna be a handful for a while seems but then again technique wins fights. But against Lesner if you don't have some good technique and some size as well (as Randy found out, albeit an older Randy) he is a handful and cuts down to 265. Does anyone else cut down to 265? In the older days there were some big dudes but today? I'm thinking of that big tall dude. Gan McGee. But I see Silvia beat him lately. Someone like him must be out there. Just thought of the guy to take him... Big Country! That would be a good fight. BC has technique and size. And a belly. Which is great. |
