Levon Helm is one hell of a guy, The Band was one hell of a band. Met Levon a long time ago through Ronnie Hawkins via Robbie Robertson at the Elmo. Hung out with Levon for a bit when he played Nags Head North in the early 2000's. Great guy.

He took the tagline from his website and the name of his current charity performances from the Rolling Stones cover band I was in at the time. We opened for Levon quite a few times when he visited Ontario. Good memories.

Hint (all ten minutes of it):

Elton John, when he was young and pretty (yet already bald, sigh. What a horrid wig...). This voice has not been matched in 40 years.

(I've never met Elton, but I knew Leon Russell and have played with Long John Baldry on a number of occasions. Played guitar for him on a few Toronto gigs, I mean... not actually played with him...)
