Well, that's India. I can literally beg for more than $200 (and get it) on the street corner here with nothing more than a sharpie & a crappy cardboard sign. If your logo & branding aren't worth more than that, you should be rethinking your business or do it yourself.

Just want to add....

the reason I'm expensive is because when I deliver a logo project, it's in full vector 300 dpi and flawless. No artifacts, bad cuts, weird stroke outlines, jagged edges, etc.
They are background universal, fully scalable, and can be used on anything from business cards to websites, to t-shirts, to trade show graphics, to massive highway billboards.
And modifications come with it.

You get what you pay for.

Exactly.

However, any decent logo designer delivers his designs in vector (ai/eps/pdf). Delivering a logo in psd is crappy in the first place. Some blokes charging $300+ are still doing this, I withnessed it with a client a couple days ago. Paid three hundred bucks for a bitmap shitty logo. I had to redo it from scratch and make it better looking.
