Google Buzz, trying to be the next Twitter?
I guess Google Wave didn't work.
Pretty smart since so many people have gmail accounts now. http://www.google.com/buzz (They have a video for more info if someone wants to post it)

Google Wave is still in progress and I really don't see how this is diff. than Facebook.

The fact that it is inside gmail is a pain. It should be standalone.
