After spending almost 5 years in this industry working with affiliates I have seen just about every way possible for an affiliate to make money through members area upsells...

funny thing is that in that time period nothing has seemed to change in terms of the way the upsell products are presented and the way that members areas are designed.

Question: With declining membership bases what other ways besides those listed above can an affiliate make money at?

If membership sales and those upsells listed above are ALL that can be sold then the only thing I can think of that could done differently is to offer a mini members area sample that a potential member can see BEFORE joining to try out and use this as a preview of what is to come getting them interested enough to join.

I know there are a few "exterior members areas" out there but it's time for the paysite membership programs to think outside the box!

It would help me greatly if your dating site api would respond to mine with a one click url that serves as both login and confirm url to your site and enver expires. Surfers bookmark those urls they are too lazy to copy and paste their user names and passwords
