Let's say she destroyed a desk by vandalism, what's the price of the desk? $100?

This is interesting.

I think what they did to her is too harsh. Considering that she is only 12 years old.

I am not sure, but this could have been a waste of time of police.

Personally if this was my child I would have went to the papers, which they obviously did, then I would have went to DHS and reported them for mental cruelty, then I would have sued the shit out of the school system and the police dept. Almost as bad as the mental cruelty, this will go on her permanent record so when she tries to get into college you can just imagine whats going to happen. They have damaged this child for life and not just mentally.
