A visit to the music shop
Yesterday bought some presents in the local music shop.
Got Kylie Minogue for my 26 year old daughter (I know and do not need telling) Eminem for Eva. And for me I got the DVD of Cream Farewell Concet at the Albert Hall. Just finished watching my DVD and only one word describes it awesome. Were we that lucky all those years ago to have a band like The Cream and not even worry that they were breaking up? I was at the Albert Hall that night and remember it a bit. We were just there to listen to the music. We knew that these three musicians would go on to do more fine things. Create more great bands to enthrall us. There was also the Stones, the Who, the Kinks, the Doors, Hendrix, Pink Floyd to listen to. Plus more too come Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Santana, Ten Years After, Led Zeplin. Then suddenly it was over and glam rock was in. Should have kidnapped Baker, Clapton and Bruce and made them play togethet for a little longer. |
