Does your Mac seem a little warm when running Windows?

Over a year ago I decided to give the Dark Side a try, spent a bunch on money on a Mac Pro, got FinalCutStudio and gave it a good shot...it wasn't for me.
The only thing that saved that Mac Pro from becoming a very expensive paperweight was Bootcamp, I put XP on it and used it almost everyday, all's right with the world...right?
Wrong.
Not long ago somebody on this board posted Core Temp http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/ I downloaded it but never bothered to try it on the Mac since the fans were so quiet I thought there was no problem, again wrong.
When I did try it on the mac I found cpu temps at 60% capacity were running over 90c, very close to damage and shutdown, I did some investigating and found out that there is no provision in Bootcamp for controlling fan speeds when running another OS, in Windows the fans stay at idle speed.
Seems this happens with Ubuntu and other operating systems as well, Apple seems to be aware of it since at least 2007 but so far The Cult Of

Jobs hasn't been inclined to address it.

I did find a couple of workarounds, neither perfect:
Input Remapper (haven't tried this one yet)

I'm using the SMC Fan Control for now but it's cumbersome, you have to boot into OSX to set minimum fan speeds the reboot into Windows, if you shut down the settings are lost and you have to boot OSX again to set it again

Oh and btw, when you speed up the fans on a mac that "precision machine" will become the loudest computer you have ever heard in your life

So if you are using Bootcamp check your temps! you may be damaging you processors.

On my PC I have ASRock OC tuner where I can change the voltage system & over clock it... I still dont understand most of it but I have tried to make it as cold as I can get it. Ive change the cpu & pcie frequency before but I do not know if it changed much?

Not so perfect now, are we, Mac? Gonna laugh when someone's machine catches on fire and they get sued.

While I doubt anybody's machine will catch fire, heavy Bootcamp users like myself may find their processors dying young from the heat, and if they use their MBP sitting on their laps they may find their balls getting a tad warm.
I'm really surprised at Apple for not addressing this, my opinion of them is getting lower and lower
