A nice heavy cross cut shredder that could handle corrugated cardboard and deal with staples and such would be nice. Should be a standard home appliance these days I think.

The one I have can do cds/dvds, credit cards, and paper with staples in it. No cardboard though.

It will do a max of 6 sheets at a time. Between personal stuff and my mainstream business, it gets a fair amount of use with no problems so far. I've had it a year or so, and no complaints, especially for the price.
