what are good mailing list scripts
I want to send a few thousand emails to my fans what is a good mailing list script .. that .. I could import my mail list and send away .. that is free of cost to send the mail but don't mind paying for the script

I have no idea how, but for me it appeared to work. I had almost 15k on my mailing list and GMail was usually the one service I could count on it arriving at. Yahoo Mail seemed to be the one that filtered it the most.
How these things work...I'm afraid I don't know but I can tell you as a mailing list, it was pretty rock solid. Incidentally, most CPanel hosts that have Fantastico installed carry PhpList as a one or two click install, making setup pretty damned simple.
