Questions about the opportunities of a computer science major on here.
How well can a person do freelancing on here (a white American male that is effective, reliable, and timely) with skills in XHTML, HTML, HTML5, mySQL, .NET, Python, Ruby, Perl?

Just curious what the market is on here.

About the same as anywhere else. There are always people looking for workers, but most will not hire without seeing a portfolio.

Of course, and makes sense. It's all about building a reputation like anywhere else. I'm just happy I've found what I love to do.

If you have true skills in all you say then you will have little trouble doing freelance work anywhere. If you have studied them in a school or from a text book you may find it much harder
