What are the best films you'e ever seen?

So many films to choose from today and so many that just are forgotten as soon as I walk out the cinema.

These in the last 4 decades were the best for me and I still enjoy watching them.

Lawrence of Arabia
Life of Brian

This may look like a long list but it is quite cut down compared to what I could write

A Little Trip To Heaven (2005)
American History X (1998)
Arte de Roubar (2008)
Blood And Chocolate (2007)
Blood Diamond (2006)
Casino Royale (2006) - quite good for a bond film
Defiance (2008)
Dolans Cadillac (2009)
Drag Me To Hell (2009) - first horror film i've seen for ages that actually had scary bits in
Fight Club (1999)
Harry Brown (2009) - reminded me why I used to hate going on the tower block estates in London
Hitman (2007)
I Am Legend (2007) - considering it is basically a film with only 1 person in I thought Will Smith carried it very well
Ichi The Killer (2001) - Japanese - cartoonish violence
In Bruges (2008)
Inside Man (2006)
Kontroll (2003) - Hungarian - slightly odd
Layer Cake (2004)
Lola Rennt (1999) - German - also called Run Lola Run - probably the film i have watched the most times
No Country for Old Men (2007) - brilliant film, poor ending
OSS 117: Le Caire, nid d'espions (2006) - French - very well made retro james bond style
OSS 117: Rio ne répond plus (2009) - French - ^
Pathology (2008)
Road to Perdition (2002)
RocknRolla (2008)
Shoot Em Up (2007)
Shooter (2007)
Smokin Aces (2006)
Taken (2008)
Taxi (1998) - French, sequels were a bit shit though
The 51st State (2001) - good film, nothing to do with me liking Emily Mortimer
The Baker (2007)
The Bourne Identity (2002) The Bourne Supremacy (2004) The Bourne Ultimatum (2007) - as a set the Bourne films are something I have watched again and again
The Butterfly Effect (2004) - makes you think a lot afterwards
The Hunting Party (2007)
The Sixth Sense (1999)
The Steam Experiment (2009) - quite good as a puzzle
The Usual Suspects (1995)
The Transporter (2002) Transporter 2 (2005) Transporter 3 (2008) - not sure if these are good or not but a=>b no questions was me in 1993 so good memories
Transsiberian (2008) - no idea why this never made the cinema
Unknown (2006) - quite good as a puzzle
Visioneers (2008) - best use of colour to influence your emotions I've seen for ages
Wall-E (2008) - never really watch animation so was surprised I liked this
11:14 (2003)
13 Tzameti (2005) - French - about to be remade, expect the remake to be shit like usual

most of the films listed are great films.

Best film I have seen recently has to be the hangover.

Its hard to tell as there are great movies when seeing them for the 1st time, but I wouldn't watch them afterwards. There also are some average movies I can watch many times, they get me in good mood. Or are just classic and a must see everytime they are in TV.

Honestly.... if any of your top movies are: Godfather(s), Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Scarface, Goodfellas... etc...

You REALLY need to watch more movies.
