The Social Costs of Pornography Website

The forces of censorship are gathering. They are getting slick in their marketing. Check out this website promoting their new study:

After this health care bill do you know how easy it will be for a republican congress to ban porn? The door is now wide open.

They are pissing into the wind. There is a thing in the US called the constitution which ensures freedom of speech and expression so these guys will never make a dent. Plus how are they going to effect what we do here in the EU?

But let's assume they do and the most you can put out there is pictures of girls naked. Guys will still buy pictures of girls naked to jerk off to. Trust me I sold pictures of girls naked back in the when that was all you could get away with.

Maybe they will ban all the free sites that allow anyone to see all the porn they require. Now I'm dreaming. LOL

"Pornography, by offering an endless harem of sexual objects, hyperactivates the appetitive system. Porn viewers develop new maps in their brains, based on the photos and videos they see. Because it is a use-it-or-lose-it brain, when we develop a map area, we long to keep it activated. Just as our muscles become impatient for exercise if we've been sitting all day, so too do our senses hunger to be stimulated."

That actually sounds plausible...

"There is evidence that the prevalence of pornography in the lives of many children and adolescents is far more significant than most adults realize, that pornography is deforming the healthy sexual development of these young viewers, and that it is used to exploit children and adolescents."

There are groups that say the same shit about video games too.

Examine the two organizations supporting this website and book sale;

http://www.winst.org/index.php
http://www.socialtrendsinstitute.org/

That is all you need to know about what kind of an impact this book/website should have

yea mean, the attempt to regulate what sort of 'maps' you want to develop?

you have a doctor talking about your right for life and experience like he knows better than you do

I'm just saying that that doctor's theory makes sense... he just stated facts about how the brain works, whether we should "regulate what sort of 'maps' you want to develop" is a completely different issue...

i have no problem with people who are anti-pornography, freedom of thought and expression, just because I don't agree with them doesn't make them wrong and me right. for many people and families pornography does cause problems - as do a hundred other things in life. the insane amount and easy access the Internet has made of and to pornography definitely will have a negative effect on some people. i worry about kids who now grow up with the ability to watch and download porn 24 hours a day if nobody is supervising their lives and sadly that's a big % of kids. It would be the same if kids had access to fast food 24 hours of day at no cost to them and their parents weren't watching, they'd all weigh 300 pounds and sick. When I was 13, there was no Internet and their were no VCR's, most of my monkey spanking was to lingerie ads, bikini ads, my mom and sister's fashion magazines, and when I could get them, skin mags like Penthouse and Playboy and my favorite, Mayfair, which Paul was a photographer for. I worshipped these girls, I jerked off fantasizing about having a girlfriend who looked them or being seduced by girls/women like them - never in my 13 year old head did I think they were worthless whores or did I fantasize about sticking their head into a toilet. I just wanted to fuck them and eat their pussies. So much of the porn boys and men are watching today is absolutely mysoginistic, watch that type of porn 10 hours a day whether you're a 13 year old kid or a 40 year old man and you are going to end up with some men who are fucked up in the head when it comes to women and sex.

the answer to any social problems pornography can and does cause isn't to prohibit it or censor it so that 90% of adults who enjoy it are denied it because of the small minority who are weak minded.

Let's talk about the "social cost" of rape crimes going down with increases in the availability of internet porn.

Where would you advertise if free porn didn't exist? Free porn is what makes people join. Not everyone can convert it, which is good for those who can.

We need to gather a list of all the "experts" who contributed to this then run their names through our databases and out every one of those fuckers who has purchased a porn membership....And you know some, if not all of them, have.
