I guess people go through phases when they get a new gadget. I for one just got a new Droid phone from Verizon; installed the fart app and giggled my ass off every minute.

Are there any apps for StatsRemote?

Porn apps?

More fart apps?

I have Android 2.0 OS and it rocks so far....except for the battery life.

Anyway, if you have any apps that are useful please list them....

DroidLight: Use the camera's flash LED as a flashlight.

Nesoid: NES emulator. Motorola Droid's input sucks for fast action games, but it is terrific for JRPGs like Dragon Warrior. (The navigation d-pad on the Droid does not support diagonal directions, just up/down/left/right)

Pandora: tunes!

Meebo: instant messaging!

AK Notepad: simple little Notepad implementation.

Advanced Taskiller -- actually, the Verizon chick recommended this one, because Apps will pile up in memory and every once in a while you need to kill them.

Missed Call -- allows you to program notifications and sounds for missed calls and texts. Believe it or not, the Droid doesn't have built in features for this.

Can't stress the Task Killer enough. It's essential.

These are the best apps that I have found

Handcent Messenger makes your text messaging look more like an iphone , it's alot better looking to read and send text messages

E-Buddy Takes all your messenger programs and combines them into one simple sign in, you can have facebook chat , yahoo messenger , windows live messenger , icq , etc all running at the same time

Astro Program so you can view your files and see what is saved on your phone

PDAnet Awesome free program so you can tether your phone to a laptop via USB cord, really simple to set up and use ( how long it lasts might be an issue with the carriers) but apparently they have a way to disguise it .

RecordDroid Simple to use audio recorder , great for interviewing people

Scan2pdf You can scan a document using a camera and then email it as a PDF , works really good, I use it all the time, you just have to make sure you have enough light and hold the phone still while scanning.

No custom ROMs for my phone, but I believe there are a few for the Droid.

Gmote - Control your computer videos from phone. I use one of my 24" monitors as an entertainment center in our master bd. So I just turn it around and then queue some video for the GF and I...
MyBackUp - Backs up all of your contact, SMS, etc... Great if you are going to root your phone. Stores all of your shit so when you get back to a freshly rooted phone, just fire this up and reset settings, home screen icons, etc...
Opera Mini 5 Beta - Very fast browser so if you are in an area with Edge or G you can still surf quickly.
PicSay - Best image editing app.. better than Adobe's because it has more filters you will actually use.
Power Manager - Makes it so you can set various power settings based on the current power remaining. ie, 30% battery left can turn off 3G, GPS and WIFI, then shorten screen timeout to 1 min...
Quick System Info - Good for killing shit that's open and won't go away...
Remote RDP and Remote VNC - Control your computer from anywhere. Get YOUR desktop and use it just like you were there.
SetCPU - Overclock the fucker!
Wordpress - Blog from your phone. Use in conjunction with PicSay and you are going to love blogging from the phone. Stuck in a waiting room for 2 hours? No problem. Kick out 8 blog posts and feel like something got done.

It is not available unless you uhh... yeah...

Google for swype 320x480 apk (or the screen resolution your phone has.. wvga and hvga also work)
then install it where ever you find it... its in beta..
