2010 Phoenix Forum Debuts ?Visionary? Sessions

Tempe, AZ, April 6, 2010 ? The 2010 Phoenix Forum is a few days away, and this year attendees can experience a couple of new aspects of the three-day event. For the first time, special ?visionary? sessions will be held featuring prominent members of the industry being interviewed by one of their peers in a relaxed, studio-style setting. Two such sessions are scheduled, both taking place on Friday, April 9 in Palm Room F at the Tempe Mission Palms.

Visionary Session #1:
11 a.m. ? 12:30 p.m., Alec Helmy, XBIZ
This TPF Visionary track offers a spotlight interview with Alec Helmy, president of XBIZ, founder of ASACP, and several highly successful online ventures. Alec entered the adult entertainment industry at the dawn of the Internet, and today his focus is the XBIZ suite of media products, which includes two monthly trade journals, XBIZ World and XBIZ Premiere, several business-to-business and business-to-consumer Web portals, and three annual trade events, XBIZ Summer Forum, XBIZ LA Conference and the XBIZ Awards. Johnny V, long time contributor in adult, and owner of Click Truth will join Alec as a special guest interviewer.

Visionary Session #2:
1 p.m. ? 2:30 p.m., Steven Scarborough, Hot House Entertainment
This TPF Visionary track offers a spotlight interview with Steven Scarborough, president and director at Hot House Entertainment. As a 24-year veteran of the adult industry, Steven founded Hot House Entertainment in 1993 and developed the multi award-winning company into one of the most recognized and sought after brands in gay adult entertainment today. Tim Valenti, co-Founder and CEO of NakedSword will join Steven as a special guest interviewer.

Also new to this year?s Phoenix Forum are some demo sessions that will feature new technologies. All demos will be held on Saturday, April 10 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Dolores and Joshua Tree Rooms.
