I didn't realize she was that drunk. She started drinking at the ladies event in which she got to late because of when she got in, so like 2p. And this happened at around 630p-7p ish, I think. From what I saw her drink at the ladies event, that's a pretty high blood alcohol content. Was there a shitload of shots going on at Hooters or something?

I was thinking the same thing. She must have drank a lot more when we got back from the ladies event. We were feelin good but she was not that drunk it didnt seem.

Im glad to see an update. Brain matter? massive internal injuries. hard to fathom...

TurboAngel 07-23-2010 04:08 PM

I'm so glad she's doing better!

Keep the faith and know that there is an entire industry of people with you in their prayers. :)

Update on fb from her good friend. Keep fighting tabi :)

Tab's out of the hospital and now in rehab. :)

This is a positive sign and only means she's getting better, and will continue to get better. Thanx for all the love, support, and prays guys...it means a lot to the people in her life..and most importantly..to Tabi. I went and visited her on Friday, and rhe amount of progression I've seen already was AMAZING. I had tears of joy....and was sooo proud of her. She's def. a fighter.

PersianKitty 08-15-2010 05:23 PM

I don't know if it's been mentioned, she going to be able to work ever again? do they expect her to make a full recovery, mentally speaking?

Still can't believe it :(

I can confirm that Tabi is now in a full time Rehab center I was visiting with her yesterday. It's a huge improvement over being in a hospital ward. She is now receiving help with her issues and it's hopeful she will have great improvements in the coming months.

Tabi has had a very severe brain injury and though she has improved greatly she will be on a life long struggle to get back what she has lost.

Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated and I tell her every week that everyone here misses her.

_Richard_ 08-16-2010 09:17 AM

good to hear, thank you for the update

Sharky 10-07-2010 05:54 PM

I got a phone call from Tabitha yesterday. I was extremely happy and saddened at the same time. As AJ mentioned in a previous post, she has a long road ahead of her. At first it didn't sound like her. You can tell she still has her fiesty spirit and is moving forward.

Keep her in your prayers guys, she's fighting for it!

Every day on the way to work I feel bad for not checking up on this thread and tell myself I will - I want to hear some good news about Tabitha and know she's doing better... and work always gets the best of me and my time and I've just been dropping down and out of radar.

But today we just learned one of our long-term chat site members, a great guy by the nick of JTGreen, passed away in a terrible way, who was always thought of as a good man and a constant contributor - never a bad word said about him, a kind of guy who would just turn a roomful of leachers and beggars into jokers and banter...

And it got me feeling like shit enough to finally come to my senses and come put some positive wishes out to Tabitha and her terrible ordeal - and frankly hoping to get some back.

When someone is so up, and full of energy and drive and life-lust and sheer presence as Tabitha (who is really our Pussycat) you get that unconscious feeling that they'll be around forever, you just know she'll always be there, and you get to take the fact of their presence for granted - online, at the shows, on the phone - despite yourself - until the rude awakening.

This "user" who was so much more and had been part of our little online landscape for so long was snuffed out so tragically that it was a shock to realize that despite how positive and energizing his presence was, I came to take it for granted...

But Pussycat's struggle and overcoming her first biggest hurdles is amazing and so gratifying, and she came so close to buying it that I hope it makes us all stop and think a bit about how we can be so lost in the spit and venom of boardshitting and slamming the bad, and completely forget the good ones around us and how there's so much more, so many more that we actually unconsciously overlook.

AJ: thanks for the great news and all the updates.

Don: thanks for that link - just gives the horrible facts and makes Pussycat's return that much more incredible.

Sharky: you lay it out real, and gave me hope in her spunkiness.

Everyone who's posted and bumped positively and I missed here - thanks for taking up the slack and reminding us of Tabitha's fight.

Pussycat: stay strong and keep up the funk.

Good night all, let's play again tomorrow
:D

MediaGuy 10-23-2010 11:47 AM

Hope you have a great weekend, pussy...

Great post, MG. Very well said.

she's a hooter partime ?

Sharky 11-13-2010 11:14 AM

I was just delivered some great news about Tabitha. I hear she was discharged from the Hospital on Nov 11th and is doing well. I don't know any other details yet, but I assume she might have been discharged to another facility or something.

As mentioned before, she still has a LONG road to recovery, but this was such great news I felt the need to share;-)
