New Beer I came across

It's called Bell's Two Hearted Ale. http://www.bellsbeer.com/brands/info/2

Got a bit if a bitter bite at the end but I like it. Tried it a week or two ago out at a bar and bought a six pack tonight from the liquor store.

Newcastle is still my favorite all round, but I like to mix things up here and there. Not a huge beer drinker either, so it's not often I discover something decent. Thought I would share.

One of the better IPAs out there. Bell's makes good beer. If you like Newcastle you need to try Bolita Brown Double Nut Brown. Probably one of the top 5 brown ales in the world and it is made in Tampa by Cigar City Brewing.

Newcastle is good beer. I want to have your babies more and more every day.

I love Widmer Hefe.. but I sample new things here n there.

When I was just in vegas a couple week ago I was at the burger bar in the mandalay bay.

HUGE list of beers around the world. I tried a couple of the foreign wheat beers. They are a bit more bitter than ours. But good nonetheless. Pretty good joint all around.

Right in my home town and I haven't even tried it.

I actually ordered something by Cigar City the other night but they were out. Next time I fill up a 6 pack sampler I'll make sure to include it.

Internext we were going to hit burger bar at mandalay for lunch but I had the bight idea to save time we should grab a bite at the buffet at the Palms. Huge mistake and possibly the worst food of my life. What ever time we saved was wasted back in the hotel room trying to keep my food down afterwards.

Food at the Palms is just fucking awful. Never again. Next time Burger Bar for sure and probably Hoffbrauhaus (sp?).

I've done the Hotel before, it's my favorite place to stay in Vegas hands down. What I really like about it is that it so insular. Like when you're in a room at the hotel you don't hear jack shit. I've never heard the people above or next door, never overheard people in the hall way. It's like your own plush refuge.

I had bad luck at the mexican joint too. I ordered a half dozen oysters, & ordering oysters at a cantina style joint I guess maybe I was asking for it. There was a little white baby crab in them, and when I realized it was still alive, I know it sounds silly now, but for some reason I was completely wigged out. It was in it's last gasps, lol. I just felt really bad for it.

8-9% ABV is quite common among speciality West Coast IPAs & DIPAs these days. Try one of these 32% ABV brews from BrewDog http://www.brewdog.com/tactical_nuclear_penguin.php

Have you tried it yet? I wasn't sure if it was avail. Haven't seen it down here yet. So far I haven't been a huge fan of the higher ABV brews, but I'm willing to try it at least once.

The BrewDog Tactical Nuclear Penguin is made in Scotland. About the only way to get it is to order it direct but I have not done that yet. They will ship from Scotland to the US though.

The wheats i tried at the burger bar were imported from Germany and Belgium i think.

I forget the names, but i think you would accept them as legit brew

I used to drink newcastle when I was younger but it always used to give me a banging head ache so I switched to Bud ... Now I hardly ever drink

A six pack of beer will not help you get a six pack of abs. Good luck.

I've been working so much the days and nights run together. My weekends are spent the same way as my weekdays- mostly at the computer. Has nothing to do with my alcohol consumption. I'm sure some of you can relate.
