My Today's movie program
Trying to cure a flu so I prescribed me a major rest and a couple movies
Escape from New York (1981) Cult status by now, not much to add, didn't loose no appeal since I saw that as a kid, enjoyed every second of it Kurt Russel, Lee Van Cleef, Isaac Hayes, Ernest Borgnine, John Carpenter's minimalistic score The Crow (1994) Finally after years got to see this, playing the soundtrack for years already, the whole story around the movie and original comics is well known and a bit scary. But the movie actually delivers, exceptional cinematography and Michael Wincott must be one of the all time best villain actors. It's also refreshing to see a movie using special effects without all that CGI / superanimated bullshit. Trees Lounge (1996) Saw that in the cinema when I was 17, so it was a cool re-watch Steve Buscemi plays a deadbeat anti hero and the whole movie is actually pretty entertaining, twice as much if you ever frequented bars yourself ![]()
