I can't really say I have a favorite anymore. But I still enjoy watching from time to time.

I am picking The Suns out of the west and The Magic out east. The only reason I picked The Magic over The Cavs is that they really looked bad the past 2 games against The Celtics. I think Lebron is hurting alot more than he is letting on and the rest of the team looks deflated. If The Cavs can pick it up they would give The Magic a good run. In the finals I see the Suns winning in 6 games.

I'm in Orlando so it's the Magic.

Jameer Nelson is back 100% and we're playing better than ever. That's what kept us from
winning it all last year so it looks very promising.

It's amazing how a sports team can really get a city going

NHL playoffs blow the NBA playoffs away and I'm a pretty big NBA fan. NBA spreads the games out too much, loses momentum when they do that. Hockey is a war in the playoffs, basketball doesn't match it for intensity.

i still watch a lot of NBA playoffs and if my team was in the playoffs i'd be much more into it.

Yeah, US Airways Arena has been rockin in this Spurs series. Lets hope they can take one in SA and then close out at home in game 5. Their gonna need a healthy Robyn Lopez though if they win this series, to combat the Lakers size in the next round.

Raptors. I think we will lose bosh and stuck with turk who seems to given up after signing the big contract.

It's time to rebuild.

The Cavs (with a healthy Lebron) will get thru Orlando with no problems.
Howard is easy to get in foul trouble and Cleveland will be throwing Shaq, Varejao and Ilgauskas at him hard.
Watch out for Hickson & Parker that series too.

Agreed, Suns have to have Lopez to beat LA and even have a chance at LA.
Gasol and Bynum will eat up Frye, Amar'e, Dudley, Collins and Sweet Lou.

I never thought Lopez was going to be much, but the more and more I watch him play, he's got potential and changes the game when he's on the floor. You don't find many big men as athletic as him. I can see him and Brooke in the league for a long time. (without injuries of course)

Bosh would be the perfect fit for the Lakers (with Bynum being injury prone and the Lakers getting older and older) or the Clippers (with the emergence) (I Hope) of a healthy Blake Griffin.

Either way, he's out of Toronto.

How come they didn't make it thru Orlando last year?

What's different?

The Magic are better than last year.

Howard has another year of experience and Jameer Nelson is back and been on fire lately.

The Cleveland LeBrons will have the fight of their lives and it's too bad those two teams can't fight it out in the NBA finals

One of the big reasons the Cavs didn't make it to thru Orlando last year was Dwight Howard.
So the Cavs got Shaq specifically for that.

The Magic did add to their roster (Barnes and Carter most notably) and the Cavs did too with Parker and Jamison.
Should be a great series, I think the Cavs have the edge.

and whoever Nelson is guarding should have some big games.

I am rooting for the Suns.

Lakers should clean house in the west relatively easy. Spurs are too beat up, suns are too small. Dallas and Denver would have given us the most problems and they are gone. All this is assuming Bynum can continue playing through the injury. Suns are fun to watch I just don't think they can win.

They should end up facing Orlando or Boston in the east. Either one will be a great match up and fun series to watch.

Yep, been to all of the playoff games. The Spurs series has been exceptionally rowdy and loud, very fun games. I live in the south Chandler area, whereabouts are you?

I'm confused, didn't the Cavs lose homecourt to the Celtics? Might watch that series before all this talk about them beating the Magic comes up...

Cavs will not get past the Celtics, "healthy" Queen James or not. Celtics take them in 6.

Magic pose a lot of problems to the Celtics, but if they can contain Howard without excessive double-teaming, and keep up the defensive pressure for a full 4 quarters, the Celtics will win the East.

Lakers have had the Jazz's number for years, and will easily finish the series; I say Lakers in 5.

Suns are looking very good, but I wouldn't count the Spurs out completely, though it's looking bleak. I'm saying Suns in 6.

Lakers have too much size for the Suns, and will destroy them on the boards, which will keep the Suns a half-court team. It might go 7, but Lakers will take them.

Lakers and Celtics final will be epic, and bring the Lake Show some redemption over 2008, though the Celtics are obviously not the same team as they were then.

And I do agree with Mutt - the NHL playoffs have been decisively more entertaining. Blackhawks / Penguins final, and I'd give a slight edge to the Pens simply 'cause they won it all last year and have a slight talent edge as well.

Did you catch the Magic game last night?

The hack-a- Howard plan didn't work as he made 13 out of 18 free throws and stayed out of foul trouble. Several magic players scored over 20 pts.

They have no weakness.

When they play their best NOBODY can beat them.

That NBA Championship banner sure will look nice hanging in our brand new state of the art arena next year

When James becomes a Magic player in his quest for his own ring I see the Magic becoming a dynasty.

I thought Lebron would stay in Cleveland for sure but I was listening to Colin Cowherd yesterday who seems to think otherwise after speaking with some NBA insider he wouldn't name. Lebron still doesn't have the supporting cast the other superstars have, Shaq is done and retiring, Mo Williams and Antawn Jamison are hardly Scotty Pippen and Dennis Rodman and the Cavs are stuck with them. Unless the Cavs owner is willing to go way over the salary cap and pay huge luxury tax and salary for somebody like Dwayne Wade or Bosh I think Lebron is going to seriously look at going somewhere else.

They've been rebuilding for the entire 15 years of their existence. I can't believe Colangelo who is supposed to be one of the best minds in pro basketball has fucked up so badly. Bosh is gone and that's pathetic, Bosh wouldn't have left if Colangelo had put a decent team around him and a decent coach instead of a coach that would literally be about #500 on the list of potential coaching candidates for any other NBA team looking for a coach.

What else do you expect, it's the Hawks, they have no big man.

This is definitely the year for the Cavs to have any chance.

It will never happen, but I hope he goes to New York. You would think that players would embrace New York, playing in the garden, celebrities, etc.....but, since Patrick Ewing (and Bernard King Before him) no other 'Franchise' player has been a Knick.

What exactly was wrong with Sam Mitchell?

He won Coach of the year in 06/07 and then started off to an 8-9 start and was relieved of duties, that's ridiculous.
