I googled it and it came up with tons of scripts and stuff claiming that you can easily convert ordinary 2D videos into 3D stereo (The kind where you use red/cyan colored glasses to view)

Have anyone successfully converted a video into 3D using their own computer?? Or does anyone know of an encoder who can do it and don't charge a billion a minute??
