Have sex with an endless parade of random strangers. Anything that makes you feel good, as long as it isn't drugs.

I was a fiend back in the 80s until I started having heart problems when doing it. Trust me, nothing will make you give up coke faster than when you've spent a night counting your heart beats, thinking that any second your heart will explode. Never again for me! And I haven't touched it since 1988.

If you do coke (or meth), next time you do it, just stop whatever you are doing and start counting your pulse. See how many beats per minute and how your heart is about to burst out of your chest and think about how easy it would be that rythmn to get messed up and boom - you are in cardiac arrest. I have stories for days about my intense crashes when I was younger where once the shit runs out I'm searching all over the floor for whatever coke-crumb I can find. Good quote. I just sent this to someone close to me who is having a battle with it. She has been doing it a year straight, every day, and her heart is messed. She was in the hospital a few weeks ago because of it.
