ok good
I saw this on craigslist, a 3 bedroom rental, 14th floor with nice views for PHP20000 (Is that pesos? I dont even know)
http://manila.craigslist.org/apa/163102335.html

So then $400 American dollars can pay for a large 3 bedroom apartment a month right?

I talked to a guy from there. He worked at a bank and made $5k a year. He was all excited to come to the US and make $30k. The bank provided uniforms, health insurance and had 3 of those extra months. So it was a good job and he said he was not living big.

over here for $500.00 a month you can rent ok townhouse in a complex with swimming pool etc, but for my ADSL I pay like 100 times more than anybody else in the World

what most of the people think is that you'll get the same quiality of life in a 3rd World country for 10 times less money than in the States, well, there's a good reason why they're called 3rd World countries on a first place ;)

everything's cheaper in the Philippines, a lot of tourists prefer to live here and do business cause you get enough work done in a few $$.

haha, fuck, hopefully he doesn't come to the US for the 30k. If you make 30k pre tax in this country you do not have health insurance.

depends on where you are in the philippines.

in the provinces 100usd (5k+ php) will rent a small house or nice apartment in cities like dumaguete or some parts of cebu.

but if you want air cond or cable internet then triple that.
