Hi Everyone,

I have been hosted at Phatservers/Amerinoc for over 4 years now.
I have a dedicated box there.
I am one of those clients with limitless customizations. Amerinoc has probably closed over 300 tickets with my requests.
As you know from others posts tickets have always been handled in a minutes there, but recently something much worse than "just another ticket" has been opened by me - I was under the DDoS attacks with hundreds of IPs attacking one of my websites.
I was under attack for over two days and in over two days my server was down only for 15 minutes.
Techs were tweaking mod_evasive and other tools to fight attacking IPs.
Chris Eastman was monitoring my server for 8 hours to find out the patters of attacking IPs to block them all.
Once he has tweaked tools to block attacking IPs they have tweaked their tools as well and so on cycle by cycle until they gave up.
And Chris was so responsive to every tactic change that Apache was down only once and only for 15 minutes.
Thats actually amazing result!

What other hosting company would dedicated its best technician to mitigate the DDoS attack for a full working day?

No words to Mike and especially Chris Eastman, the best tech I have ever met and I have been hosted at multiple places!

Been with them since before 2003 and I would never think about moving my stuff to anybody else!

The guys at PhatServers are fucking awesome. Best tech support I've ever gotten from a host. So happy I moved my stuff there.

I love Phatservers! They're great people and have always taken good care of me. Never sent an email to them that wasn't returned within 10 to 15 minutes. 5 minutes is the norm : )
