I need some camera advice

Looking for something that would do a quality job on product photography. Will use it both in and outdoors. Most of the pictures are for literature and website advertising of products we manufacture.

Look up some cameras on Google or other search engines. Good luck, Minte.

You're better off asking at MP. You see the responses you will get here.

Depends on if you want slr or point and shoot as well. I personally love my Canon Digital Rebel. It's a great, cheap dSLR. Also just picked up a Canon Powershot 780is that is looking pretty damn good. HD video on it blows though. Very grainy.

Nikon or Canon.

Make sure you get a top quality lens.

if i were to buy a camera for that today i would either go full frame nikon body or if price were a concern, i would chose the nikon d5000

if i had to go with just one lens- it's the 18-200mm VR DX lens

Another vote here for the Canon Rebel XSi DSLR. But make sure to get a decent flash unit like the Canon 580 EXII.... it makes all the difference in the world on indoor shots.

Prefer Nicon. I worked with Canon sometime, but came back with NIKON again.
