Photoshop? Resize image if image width over certain width?
I am trying to batch about 1000 images and want to resize all images to 800 width. Some of the images are already under 800 width so I don't want those to expanded. Is there anyway to do this in photoshop or another program?

I haven't used PS in several versions but it used to (and may still) be an "action" that you'd use for this.
Would have been very simple, not sure about the newer versions though. Thumbnailer and Arles could also do this, you'd set it not to enlarge for the smaller images. |

I use VSO Image Resizer and it will make all the images to "about" what you wanted them to be. It will shrink them to work and if it's already under that number it won't expand them.

All you have to do is sort the folder by image dimensions and pull out the ones you don't want enlarged before running the resize action.
