hi everyone. not sure where to ask, so i am asking here. does anyone have any experience with helping animals in danger? i mean those animals that are almost dead worldwide and there are some sanctuaries where people are trying to help them survive? anybody know any link where to start? i want to help directly to those sanctuaries, not send money to greenpeace or any other big companies ... thanks in advance for any reply and have a nice day everyone!

Easiest way is to select and animal u want to help and seek out organizations that are active.

I regularly support a couple of big cat rescues and sanctuaries located in Florida and California.
Any ones you are checking on in the US should have government documentation that their operation is on the up and up.

that is a must, thanks for reminder! and if someone know how to support some monkeys or hippos or something in danger in africa or somewhere on the planet, let me know please, any reply is much appreciated!

I prepare a non profit website about one part of Carpathian Mountains Area, there will be very significant coverage of nature conservancy and wild animals protection. You could put a few links back when my site will be ready if you like.

Here is a group local to me that is doing alot with the animals effected by the oil spill-

Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary

I give to them, the WWF and also to Much Love Animal Rescue.

This group has gotten a lot of press lately since they have been rescuing a lot of the shore birds since the oil spill. A definitely hands-on rescue society, they have been instrumental in receiving and caring for the birds affected by the spill. They have a long haul in front of them still so I'm sure they'll really appreciate the support!

im about to take my hazmat class and begin helping with these oil spill animals and oil spill directly down here. our area is so affected now, i have to get involved. trying to get on right now, just waiting for slot on a boat. i cant sit back and watch anymore, time to get hands dirty and really help. but before you can help you gotta take hazmat class and be trained.

I don't do it anymore.
