Back from Cybernet Expo! Post feedback please.
Well... I walked into my house at 11pm after shutting everything down yesterday with Connor. Got nearly 12 hours of sleep but am still tired LOL.
Really really appreciate the support from everyone who sponsored and attended and I'd love to get your feedback of the show... positive and negative so that we can plan out 2011 and make the show even better. But I am taking a 2 month break tho before getting on it!!

Overall excellent! Made some great contacts, etc
The mobile panels, and Eric Bernstein's were enlightening. The others were good too, but would be great to have some more advanced knowledge in some of the panels. |

Loved it. I had two ICQ's waiting for me when it fired up this morning from persons I met at the show, can't ever complain about that. Met a ton of new people as well, some amazing minds came together at this show and got to meet up with some old friends again too. Good food good people good show...
I give the expo 2 thumbs up and a lesson learned to bring warmer cloths next year. Saw your post DJ, I will hit you up shortly.. been a busy Monday.

Jay, as I mentioned in another thread this year's show was a really nice mix of people. I saw some people there I have not seen at a show in months or some cases, years. Affiliate programs, affiliates, hosting, billing, mobile, new start ups, old standards, European and American. Having the sponsored lunches, seminars, bar and parties all in the same area was a great touch at keeping us all in one central location.
The only recommendation I might make is to have the Show and Sell the first or second day so that we have more of a chance to talk to some of the new connections we make during it. ![]() Keep up the excellent work! |

Good call HoneLynn... In fact Connor and I on the way to the airport yesterday agreed that show and sell needs to happen on Day One!
Glad you enjoyed the show TheDoc... always a pleasure seeing you! DJ thanks for the panel feedback. If you have any topics you think would be useful I'd like to compile a list. Send to jay at ynot dot com thanks...

I agree with all said so far. I had a VERY productive show. It was intimate, which is not code for small attendance, but rather that it was conducive to good-quality conversation. I did hear a few people make the same comment DJ did about the seminars. Perhaps you could have a few themes and then progressive sessions on those themes? I don't think anyone would complain about a few sessions of live photoshoots! ;) I had a great time, and loved finally meeting several people I'd only known online, and getting to spend time with those that I've only bumped into at other shows. Good job you guys!
