Any IP camera will work. Personally I would just get one of the wireless IP cameras with audio that you can get on ebay for around $100 and see if you can hide it somewhere out of sight. Foscam makes reliable cheap models.

When you start getting into the "spy" models that are hidden inside other devices they rape you on the price.

ok here's what you do...

Get a windows mobile phone preferably a ppc version. Install the software called remote tracker. with lets you run commands remotely from another phone or any sms.

Install Live cast for the live streaming video..

Buy an at&t go phone from walmart for 19.99 throw the phone away and just use the SIM card.

There you have it a remote controlled camera stream.

Just keep in mind that in some states it's illegal to record audio without the person's consent. That's why there are so many nanny cams without sound.

You may also be in a state where it's not legal (or borderline legal) to monitor a workplace environment without letting the employees (that includes the nanny) know. In some countries like Australia the prohibitions regarding workplace monitoring are much more strict. You basically have to give written notice that video cameras are in use.
