My baby girl Roxy had to be put down today...
Its a sad sad day here thats for sure...

After a morning of tormenting the great dane and rolling around in my lap to see me off
to the office ... 3 hours later she had a massive stroke and my wife rushed her to the vet.
Only to find out she had a blood clot that must have broken loose and caused the stroke.

I had to leave the office and OK the shot that put her to sleep because my wife just couldnt do it herself..

Losing a pet is like losing a a piece of the family

Best solution is to get another one right away it's a good distraction and it helps to fill in the huge gap your other pet left behind.

Damn I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm afraid that I am going to be doing the same thing in a day or two. Whitey, after having a good run for the last two months, has stopped eating again and this time, I don't think I'll be able to save him. He is so skinny I can almost see through him. I've had a lot of pets in my life, everything from snakes, spiders, cats and dogs to horses.
It's never a happy time when you loose a pet, but digging the hole for a horse is a lot of work

My GF and I love cats too and have had ours forever. One of the oldest had to be put down because she had cancer. We held on too long because we're idiots and didn't want to admit what was happening but in the end we knew she was suffering and... well its one of the hardest things we've ever had to do. Lots of tears..

sorry for your loss, we just recently lost Ashley's cat to cancer, vet said she wouldnt last the week, she lasted over a month, the other pets are still kinda sad about it seems.

Hasnt been a year since I had to do the very same to my cat. Still hurts when i think about not having his kick ass self around.

Never have had to go the extent of having them put down... was hard to hold him during that. But it was the best thing at the time for him.
