man a friend of mine and i tried to do the hitchhiking route across europe in the 80's, and he was bitten by a werewolf so you know how that goes

no, really it was too difficult. people did not want to give rides to two large american guys so we ended up taking the train 90% of the time.

but good luck in your adventure, its a hell of a trip no doubt!
