![]() So I am experiencing the weirdest shit ever in my WP installation. I am unable to update old posts, I can't delete them nor can I change the status of a post from draft to published.
When I enter new information in my old posts and click on publish the mothafkn thing removes my changes and reverts to the original version. I am using v3.0.1 btw...I have disabled all my plugins to see if one of them bastards was fucking my shit up but nothing! I cleared my cookies/cache, tried with different browsers.... nothing helps! I have 25 other blogs and this is the only one where creepy shit is going down. Tried to get some help over at wp(.org) but their support sucks n no one seems to know whats going on ![]() |

Just a thought... maybe it's the $table_prefix on the old tables, like they the old tables aren't wp_ and you currently have them set to wp_ or the other way around.
Or maybe delete the old install on the site, reinstall fresh and see if that helps.

I would first back-up my WordPress site, back-up my database then do a clean install. Import all your shit over and see if your problem persist, then you can isolated your problems.

OK .. I exported all the yummy stuff from my Database and imported it to another one but the issue persists.
The db permissions are set correctly too.. I had a support guy from my hosting company do the exporting/reimporting thing for me once again (in case I had missed something) but nothing changed. All tables are ok n have no overhead.. I disabled all plugins but that didn't change anything... This shit sgotme pissed now.. |
