I think that he is just simply the cats pajamas! I mean he is the bees knees, and peachy keen! That whippersnippet has got some moxie I tell ya!

In fact I better not hear anybody say anything bad about our great and magnanimous leader, (may his name be praised!). Our Messiah is actually TOO good of a president, we just don't deserve to bask in the glory of his glorious light!

My thought from the start was that everyone was caught up in the hype of Obama and would overlook the fact that he is nothing more than an excellent speaker (given he has a teleprompter). He is not a leader.

My other thought was that if he would never get the chance to be a great president because he would have to spend so much time playing janitor after Bush. Any possibility of him being great would be diminished.

So far both my thoughts have been correct.

At this stage, unless he starts pulling unicorns out of his ass, he will be a one term president. HOWEVER, the American people are just dumb enough to fall for some last minute stunt and believe that "change" is still on the way. If he ends up bagging Osama he will go down as a hero. If he closes Gitmo just in time and brings the bulk of our troops home, hero. Not sure how immigration will play out but that needs to be taken care of too. Whatever he does, it will be done just in time. Otherwise... one term and going down as a horrible president.

I don't think the next puppet is going to do much better either. It's all pretty fucked now. The system is broken and the country is more divided than ever.

What I do know is, I will vote for Ron Paul. Not because I think he will win, because he won't, but because there will be no one else worthy of my vote.

a blind retard with a speech impediment could look like a genius after bush.

end the wars, don't stick to some ridiculous pre-elected agenda like healthcare reform, don't add to the divided politics, create jobs not bigger business and government.

Obama is the biggest political disappointment in my life time. The man has no balls at all and absolutely no political will except to maybe impress people. I wish he would be a one term President but on the flip side the current tone coming our of the far right is so extreme it scares the shit out of me that one of those might get their hands on the reins of power

5 reasons why Obama's popularity should be in the toilet, (that is, to the intelligent voting population).

1. The United States is drowning in debt

The Congressional Budget Office Long-Term Budget Outlook offers a frightening picture of the scale of America?s national debt. Under its alternative fiscal scenario, the CBO projects that US debt could rise to 87 percent of GDP by 2020, 109 percent by 2025, and 185 percent in 2035. While much of Europe, led by Britain and Germany, are aggressively cutting their deficits, the Obama administration is actively growing America?s debt, and has no plan in place to avert a looming Greek-style financial crisis.

2. Obama?s Big Government message is falling flat

The relentless emphasis on bailouts and stimulus spending has done little to spur economic growth or create jobs, but has greatly advanced the power of the federal government in America. This is not an approach that is proving popular with the American public, and even most European governments have long ditched this tax and spend approach to saving their own economies.

3. Obama?s socialized health care

With a monstrous price tag of $940 billion, those who repeal is now supported by 55% of US voters. A great leap forward by the United States towards a European-style vision of universal health care, which will only lead to soaring costs, higher taxes, and a surge in red tape for small businesses. This reckless legislation dramatically expands the power of the state over the lives of individuals.

4. US foreign policy is an embarrassing mess under the Obama administration

The surrender to Moscow on Third Site missile defense, the failure to aggressively stand up to Iran?s nuclear program, the decision to side with ousted Marxists in Honduras, the slap in the face for Great Britain over the Falklands, have all contributed to the image of a US administration completely out of its depth in international affairs.

From the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq to the War on Terror, President Obama?s leadership has often been muddled and confused. On Afghanistan he rightly sent tens of thousands of additional troops to the battlefield. At the same time however he bizarrely announced a timetable for the withdrawal of US forces beginning in July 2011, handing the initiative to the Taliban. On Iraq he has announced an end to combat operations and the withdrawal of all but 50,000 troops despite a recent upsurge in terrorist violence and political instability, and without the Iraqi military and police ready to take over. In addition he has ditched the concept of a War on Terror, replacing it with an Overseas Contingency Operation, hardly the right message to send in the midst of a long-war against Al-Qaeda.

5. Obama doesn?t believe in American greatness

In a speech to the United Nations last September he stated that ?no one nation can or should try to dominate another nation. No world order that elevates one nation or group of people over another will succeed. No balance of power among nations will hold.?

It is difficult to see how a US president who holds these views and does not even accept America?s greatness in history can actually lead the world?s only superpower with force and conviction.

1) It was in debt when he got it, most projections have been wrong in the past. Of course even if you took what was already being spent and simply projected forward the costs of things when he came in, the projection is about the same... but that's for a different day.

2) Obama didn't do the bailouts... The stimulus did a great deal in every state and many cities, schools, etc. No, the part that was set aside to produce jobs didn't rock it, but the stimulus money itself did work across our Country

3) The healthcare system is a great idea and greatly supported until it was wrongfully blasted for what it wasn't. It's turning back around though and once it's actually in action, it won't be removed - just like Medicare.

4) It's odd, why don't the other Countries put a missile defense system up if it's so needed or why aren't they all attacking Iran if it's so important? Why do we have to be the police?

4.5) Good, if we can't get the job done with a huge troops serge, then after another year we should start thinking about leaving.

We can't police and rebuild Countries forever and bring the debt down... Wake up!

5) Odd, I never saw him say America wasn't great at all.

That is a great 5 examples of how uneducated and misdirected people are in this Country... that's for sure.

What the fuck does my post have to do with Bush.

Why is it as Obama dumps this country into the toilet people always start talking about what Bush did? As if that makes it okay.

I can't even follow what you're saying here. Reread it to yourself. Look at all the new spending Obama has created and keep blaming Bush. It makes a TON of sense.

2) Obama didn't do the bailouts... The stimulus did a great deal in every state and many cities, schools, etc. No, the part that was set aside to produce jobs didn't rock it, but the stimulus money itself did work across our Country
It did absolutely NOTHING for the private sector. Reread what I posted. Look at the current unemployment rate. Look at the type of jobs the stimulus actually created.

The healthcare system is a great idea and greatly supported until it was wrongfully blasted for what it wasn't. It's turning back around though and once it's actually in action, it won't be removed - just like Medicare.
Wrongfully blasted? OHH, you mean when people actually READ the bill and deciphered what it meant. It was only a great idea to the morons who didn't read or understand the bill.

4) It's odd, why don't the other Countries put a missile defense system up if it's so needed or why aren't they all attacking Iran if it's so important? Why do we have to be the police?
Again, you missed the point. It's not about being the "police" it's about having a strong stance to back our allies. Obama is a moron who doesn't have a clue how to handle foreign policy.

We can't police and rebuild Countries forever and bring the debt down... Wake up!
What do you think Obama is doing? He's NO different than Bush except his strategy is an absolute embarrassment. He will incur the SAME debt while undoing everything we have done down there. Why? So he can loosely stand by a campaign promise he made back in 2008.

5) Odd, I never saw him say America wasn't great at all.
Odd, maybe you're a moron who can't comprehend what I quoted Obama saying.

5 facts, followed by 5 moronic opinions from someone who knows absolutely NOTHING about politics, the economy or foreign policy. That's for certain. You've proven it time and time again; I'm getting tired of trying to educate someone so foolish and blind.

obamas problem is his own party, who despite 60 votes was incapable of passing meaningful reforms. They shoulda scrapped the filibuster on day 1 & passed all kinds of big reforms the corporate lobbyists would have hated.

although obama & the democrats are badly vulnerable on matters of balls & balancing budgets, the republicans are such a loony basketcase it really makes no difference whose in charge.

either way the government is completely out of control & can't be reformed.

It's pretty simple to understand, predictions are bullshit. I'm not blaming Bush, but only an idiot though ignores what he did and what he left us with.

Other than they build stadiums, fix roads, paid teachers, firemen, police and the other shit ton of stuff States/cities did with the money, many of which hired companies from the private sector.

Only a part of it was set aside for job creation. It's not like you've actually looked to see what the money was spent on... You're just repeating fox news.

You haven't read it... so how do you know what it says? What is happening though is more people are learning about it, learning that the crap said about it on the News was false and the reality is, it's not that bad for a first start.

If our allie(S) actually do something that needs to be backed, then we can back them. At this point our allieS haven't done shit that needs backing and the majority of those allieS didn't back us for shit in Iraq and half are backing out of Afghan.

I love how you rail against more debt but expect more war. Boy, you're a brilliant one.

He's fighting the correct war... the one not against Iraq or the country of Afghan but the actual people that attacked us. Of course we will incur the same debt as long as the war is going.

Any moron knows he has said America is the greatest Country on earth and many other great compliments... but it isn't like every speech has to pretend like we really all the high and mighty, when we aren't.

You never actually passed on any education, you did share your opinions though. When people like you resort to bullshit insults like this.... people like me know I've won the argument.

Congrats... you let the local gfy faggot trick you all into making the same comments you've made in the countless other, daily, repetitive, obama/political threads.... except this time with his sig at the top

Fairly obvious that between sucking dick, and thinking about sucking dick, the faggot is doing something else with his time (such as spamming this forum) and not at all interested in politics.

The only opinion he has about Obama is whether he would fuck him or not

I think he's trashing the constitution more than any president ever has.
And is most certainly no leader.

Government can't take care of you from cradle to grave, despite your hopes.
The ONLY valid function of government is protection, guaranteed by the constitution... which is the one thing they fail miserably at.

But I'm an idiot and don't know much about the supreme law constitution of the U.S.

objectively posted JDL your thread.
