In facebook, you have the capablity to create lists.
I have one for friends and family, one for mma, and one for work. Whenever I add new friends, I place them in a category, or multiples. Some of my porn associates I also consider friends. In the privacy section, you can setup what lists can see what. Ie, my kids graduation pics is only view by friends and family. last show, by the work list. I can even post on my updates so that only family sees personal things, and porn, only work updates. It's easy to setup, if you have time to do it. I went the 2 fb account thing too, didn't work too well for me.
