Epassporte - will this have an affect on the big firms?

Do the big firms have money locked into Epassporte, and as such could loose a fortune, or will most have the cash safe and simply post out checks?

There are people with enough for a house stuck in there. I personally only have just over 2k in there so not too bad. There has definately been a swing away from epass the last couple of months. Less and less people buying scripts with epass, everyone wanted to pay by wire. I guess this is because of all those sponsors dieing off so less people had cash on hand on epass.

As for being locked, I doubt visa just pulls the plug on people like that with 0 warning. They would be opening themselves up to a lawsuit if they essentially ended epassporte because they arbitrarily decided to pull the plug. They must have some sort of contract or agreement... I suspect something else is up, or they do know why it got pulled but they aren't saying. This is all just speculation and conspiracy theory of course, who knows...maybe its all true and maybe tomorrow we'll all have our money back.

I believe most companies kept money in the virtual wallet not virtual visa since they don't need to use Epass funds for day to day business or living.

To be honest I presumed people would not keep cash in.

I presumed firms just would pay in cash when they were paying people out.

Could this realy affect big sites?

Programs may keep some cash in there for ad buys with webmasters and misc. stuff but for every program that I am familiar with how they operate, they load by wire each time before sending out bulk affiliate payments.

Of course, not every program is the same ... one may be out $500, another $5,000 and another $275,000.

Not just because of Epass, but also some big affiliate programs actually did their processing to that same bank, they are in trouble as well I guess.
