on blogs what do you prefer and why, one sidebar or two of them.

i tend to go with two of them as it gives me more exposure for the stuff i want them to see (usually adsense and a couple of mainstream affils)

2 Blogs is better then one

I prefer 1 sidebar for pics blog and 2 sidebars for vids blog .

Why not test out 2 themes or more? Track conversions and actively ask for feedback. When I first started out network blogging, I used a standard newspaper theme that I thought looked great. Crappy ass CTR. Then I kept switching themes until I found the one that worked best with my traffic.

If your traffic source is pretty uniform, you have one niche target, and you have more than 1 blog, I suggest you try installing differing themes on your differing blogs and track which converts the best. Keep tweaking until you get the CTR and conversion you can live with.

I monitor CTR for adsense, and see what work best for that type of audience.
