just a suggestion/question
I saw the GFY educational series was back and was wondering if someone might write one on buying traffic? I recently built a few dating sites using Dating Factory and am thinking about buying traffic to send to them. I know very little about buying traffic so have been trying to do some research and so far all I have learned is that if you don't know what your doing then chances are good you will lose money. Showing my age here but I dabbled very briefly in buying traffic many years ago when I bought from Choker but things didn't go well ( no fault of his just my not knowing what I was doing ) and I gave up pretty quickly.
Maybe a starters guide for traffic buying noobs like me? something that covers the basics. The terminology, the kinds of traffic and the pros and cons of it. For example, I see pop under or pop ups for sale but don't most surfers just think " damn it, another pop up window " and just x that out? is that really profitable to spend money on? wouldn't it be better to just buy clicked hard link traffic? or are they both good? maybe writing a little on who is reputable when buying traffic. I want to work with the guy looking at me saying if I make money he makes money not the guy looking at me going, great a noob lets see how much we can get his wallet open before he realizes we scammed him. So basically just a buying traffic 101 ![]() |

Basically most affiliates who buy traffic lose money on the deal.
Most people offering tutorials such as that are advancing their own interests. Not to say that a tutorial wouldn't be cool. Just beware.

no, most affiliates YOU know lose money. You really should specify because it's quite a significant difference.
