wordpress duplicate content plugin?

hi

can anyone recommend a wordpress plugin that they use, that automatically prevents duplicate content issues on wordpress blogs, maybe using canocial links or something? i.e. the same post being visible on homepage, post page, category page etc.

any advice appreciated.

thanks, i'm using that plugin already but a very old version which doesn't have what i require. looks like i'll have to upgrade wordpress from a safe old (security wise) version to the newest version.

thanks again

Where is this feature? I don't see it in the options and, if it's some kind of default, it's not working. Is it the PRO version that has this? Thanks!

There are noindex and Canonical URLs options.

are you refering to a plugin if you post duplicate content from a feed to avoid dupe content? or a plugin that is for seo for your site so its not duplicated across?

All In One does canonical URLs, but does NOT prevent dup content.

View your source code and make sure aioseo is actually putting the code in there. I've seen it not work right lots of times.

no i'm refering to if i post an original article on a blog, the same post will appear on the post page, the category page the home page and the date archives. i want to stop google potentially penalising me for that.

the all in one seo looks like it will do the job. do i have top tick the canocial url box and then no index all the archives is that enough?

You could try this one:
http://yoast.com/wordpress/meta-robo...dpress-plugin/

Loads of choices on what gets indexed and/or followed.
