Statement from St Kitts Bank

Quote:
To All SKNANB Visa Prepaid Cardholders

SKNANB is committed to adhering to Visa's stringent program requirements and maintaining the integrity of the global payment network. On instruction of SKNANB, on September 23rd, 2010, ePassporte's network access for cards issued by SKNANB was disabled. As a result, SKNANB prepaid cardholders will not be able to view their card balances through the ePassporte.com website.

SKNANB is actively working to restore, as soon as possible, SKNANB prepaid cardholders' ability to obtain information regarding their Visa card balances and to access Visa card funds. SKNANB prepaid cardholders can expect further communication from SKNANB on or before September 30th 2010.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding your SKNANB prepaid card, please contact SKNANB at [email protected]. In addition, a dedicated telephone line will be established shortly.

SKNANB thanks you for your continued patience.

Very good news !

From what i can tell... sknab saw epassporte was doing shady shit and instead of letting it happen..they cutoff epassporte to the funds and took control. Epassporte was basically shown the front door. Now that you are actually dealing with a certified BANK im sure all will be TITS in the end ...great news for all webmasters !

I am still in permanent contact with some of ePassporte employees. They say they are operating normally and by no means they are "dead".

operating normally?

SOOOOO...visa cards are normally shit off

wallet withdrawls are normally cutoff?

Its normal buisness operation for the public spokesman of epass to say hes out of the loop and asked numerous times for more info to be released?

its normal to not be able to access your accoinut information on the epassporte website...

its normal for dozens of programs to stop using epassporte as a payment option?

since all this is true..your right...epassporte is operating normally

Many companies do this to their employees. Things are always going "great". But the higher ups always know the truth and one day the employee walks in to be told to grab their stuff within 15 minutes and go since the company is closed.

The upper management usually never admits things are bad until the very end.

Prime Example: I used to work at America Online. They used to say AOL isnt going anywhere and that our jobs are safe. One day, they take everyone into this room and say the offices are closing. All jobs were cut.

There were people who could not get to it though and they tried with due dilligence. I saw one here who stated they requested a wire September 3rd and contacted Michael O but they still have yet to get the wire. It looks like if you had a lot of money in there the best option was to contact a lawyer. I'm thinking such pressure would have made it more likely for them to quit BS'ing around and get your wallet funds to you in some way. Who knows that's probably still the best move if you have a lot there even though it looks like the bank will come through for the VV funds. The lawyer is an insurance policy. I'd get one if I had over 20k tied up. That's what they are there for.

does anyone else find this unreal?

Let me predict the future...

Now SKNANB will say :

"ok just send us some documents and we will provide you a new card issued by one of our new business partner in order to have access to your monies, by the way don't forget to pay $35 for the new card"

why? They still can turn on the cards or even send wires.... it's the BANK! My only concern about this if the money is really there. Our money that is.

I have no problems with your crusade against Epass. I understand you are upset with them. I read most of your posts. But you should be clear that you didn't "know" this would happen. You had no inside information regarding Visa issues and the bank. Your theory was that programs were closing so Epassporte would go out of business. This just fell in your lap and made it easy for you to say "I told you so".

if visa is reactivated you should be able to transfer wallet funds to the vv, although i assume there will be "technical maintainace" preventing that.

Looking at the banks website... If you have over $1000 in your account I'd suggest you just open a checking account there and then have then transfer your VV into it and withdrawal that shit or use the off shore account for whatever needs you may have.
