Are .info domains okay to use?

I usually buy .com domains for my blogs but I've had some extra cash that I have used to buy a bunch of .info domains to put some blogs on as well such as facefucked.info

Anyone else do this?

I wouldn't recommend .info's. They're well known as throwaway domains, and treated as such for SEO and by people in general. Nothing says "unprofessional" like a .info.

Eww, .info are probably the worst domains out there, I'm pretty sure all .info domains are spam and malware.

Yep, used by many spammers and scammers. .info is not a good idea.

there is no problems to .info if you have some links from trusted sites to your blog

.info is treated the same as a .com in terms of SEO.

For resale, however, the opposite holds true.

good

I don't know really what those people are talking about. If you don't expect much, and use them for blogs, you will get SE traffic for sure. Check my sig and most blogs there.

i know some .info domains that are kicking asses to all other domains in serps, so if you want to use them for seo purposes, feel free to use them like they are .info ... everyone saying it is waste of time for seo knows shit and never tried to do anything with .info, do not listen to those theoretical pimps have luck man!

It's not a good idea to use .info domains for CJ/TGP sites, most of people won't trade traffic with you.
As for blogs, you'll probably be fine with them...
