No shit. Reminds me of the Olympus cameras. We went through two of them with same results. You never knew what the fuck you were getting with them. 10 good shots, 2 bad ones, lose a whole card of images....damn I don't miss cameras like that. Epson always worked good, and Cannon digi cams have been a godsend.

Sony's been great for years.. mavica was just a shit line - you should have bought into the dsc-xx range... that is, ignoring the fact that all cameras now are of course better than 2 years ago so it's a bit silly to be comparing them.
