American businesses earned profits at an annual rate of $1.659 trillion in the third quarter, according to a Commerce Department report released Tuesday. That is the highest figure recorded since the government began keeping track over 60 years ago.

No Ive heard of it. Republicans did not stop that from happening. Because I believe no Republican voted for the health care bill. Therefore they did not stop him and the democrats from doing anything.

I was looking for specific compromises that got Republicans to vote for the bill.

I can't believe I'm going to answer such a simple question when you could easily do 3 minutes of research but OK:

The Democrats in Congress took the Public Option off the table as an olive branch to Republicunts in the failed hopes of getting a few much needed GOP votes to pass Health Reform - that was A HUGE MISTAKE because conservatives (Repugs AND Conservadems) voted no anyway.. So Obama and Congress had to resort to what's known as "reconciliation" to push this landmark and historic bill though.. WHY did they have to resort to these last resort hail mary tactics?

Again, what compromise did they do to get republicans TO VOTE for it? Clearly they were never going to vote for anything. Nor did the democrats need them to. So basically what you are saying is Obama is a huge failure and does not know how to lead.
