Verifying my Paxum Account

I just applied for a Paxum Card, uploaded an utility bill and a copy of my ID card and now get a reply to upload "another photo ID card different from the one you sent". WTF??? I only have one ID card, dunno what they usually have in Canada...

Damn, I miss ePass...

ok so you guys spammed me the other day, and gave me a link to click in my email, I clicked on it then I found myself signed up to your service. How is that and is this legal?

It's my fault for clicking on the link I know, but now that I'm signed up to your service I guess I might as well give it a try if I can. I'll try anything once, but I will not provide tuns of ID's my bank routing numbers, my birth c. my utility bills, or anything for someone to steal my identity!. Someone better have a workaround for this, because I had someone steal my identity before and thankfully enough they just took money off my credit cards. I don't need this problem again.

I don't mind uploading an ID but you won't be getting my DL# from it. I want to be paid by checks not direct deposit also.

My main question is, why did I get spam from you tho. Don't ask me for headers, cause I already deleted it, but is this how you operate on a regular basis?

You might have received this email from a sponsor. We can't investigate if you don't forward the letter to us. Also the IDs we ask are all part of KYC rules that must be followed by us.

I'm not sure who "spammed" you with a link to Paxum, but I can assure you that the ONLY way to be signed up with us is if YOU actually filled out the sign up form. There is absolutely no way that a link you clicked would sign you up. Unless I'm misunderstanding you and that's not what you meant.

I sent my passport with a watermark which read 'for paxum account verification only' which is probably the best way for people to protect their ID's from misuse. Did the same with a copy of my phone bill for address verification.

Now the issue is, how long does verification take ?

I'm citizen of Poland, but actually I live in Berlin.

I sent scan of passport (proof of ID) and scan of my driving license (proof of address) and that was enough to get verification in less than 24h

So a week ago they said only 1 ID now they say 2 IDS and a proof of address? Is that correct? (any paxum rep are welcome to answer the question)

We require only 1 Government Issued photo id if the client is from USA/CANADA

For webmasters outside of the USA/CANADA we require 1 ID will do, if its a passport. If you don't have a passport then we require 2 photo IDs

Some might say we are too strict but we want to protect ourselves and our clients from fraud as much as we can.

Allready received my card yesterday in the mail

Well I didn't check the status on my account every day, but everything was handled in less then 14 days.

I just checked the enveloppe and it shows a Canadian poststamp from 10-22-10, and I got in 10-26-10

So the post system between Canada en Europe seems to be pretty fast.
