Will websmaster be soon optimizing sites for TV?

Interesting question. Not as farfetched as it sounds http://www.myseoblog.net/2010/10/27/...-sites-for-tv/

TV's have been optimizing for the web for years now, so I would say no. No need.

Google TV sounds interesting - more ways to watch the Internet on your TV.
It can be watched on a big screen with a high quality resolution.

Id say there would probably be a spike in sales if Internet TVs picked up. Almost like VOD and on your TV... most guys wet dream and not have to answer the question from their wives why they keep having to run into the "computer room" throughout the day

So far every attempt to combine surfing the web with television has gone down in flames.

Streaming media via the internet ported to television, not a bad idea. Consumers are tired of being gouged by cable giants, it make sense. Most cable companies here have ceased offering broadband internet service w/o a cable TV bundle so I think they are feeling some heat.

I could see some content sites perhaps offering feeds / clips optimized to work with google or apple TV, but surfing the web... I'll believe it when I see it.
