Is there a way to override nofollow external links on a meesage board?

I want to make a post with links on a message board that has nofollow tags to all external links. Is there a way to override this with html code or something?

why do you even care about whether or not a link has a nofollow attribute?

Usually not. You'd have to find a way to encode your links in a way that would bypass the forum's conversion. It's considered quite black hat but it isn't unheard of (Youtube had a related issue). The problem is usually it gets fixed fairly quick on major software.
