Verizon buys #CyberMonday tag on Twitter
It?s Cyber Monday and Verizon has quickly jumped on the social networking train and bought #CyberMonday from Twitter. It?s the Monday right after Black Friday where most of us at work are spending the entire day surfing the web for deals and steals. To make sure that all things Cyber Monday point back to Verizon on Twitter, the carrier has locked down the hashtag.
It?s basically a promoted tag, so that when you click on it in the trending section, you?ll see a Verizon tweet that reads: ?Starting today, Verizon?s giving you 24 days of Seasonal Surprises! Unwrap an exclusive deal now!? http://techcrunch.com/2010/11/29/verizon-twitter/ |
