"Road House" - An almost PERFECT 80s movie...

Never watched Road House before tonight, but having done so, wish I'd seen it sooner.

Step by step, scene by scene, almost the perfect movie. A little dated now of course, but thats to be expected, however that aside,, a cinematic masterpiece in movie making that just shows how truly awful and unoriginal these constant superhero movies of today are.

Give me Dalton over Batman any day of the week. I like my heroes to be grounded in the reality of a roundhouse kick, and not special effects.

Superb movie that I cannot find even the slightest fault with. 10 out of 10 !!!

ya, that's a movie I've seen like 10 times and saw it a few years ago on hbo or one of those channels and was shocked by all the nudity. The other 9 times I think I saw it on network channels. Good movie.

Will always watch that when it's on. Such a quotable movie.

I've never seen it. I noticed it on either netflix or amazon recently.

Same here. I don't know why this movie is so good, but it is. It just is. It's fun but not funny, violent but not gory, over the top yet somehow... realistic? The chicks are hot and the fighting looks painful. And Ben Gazara - LOL - probably gives one of the hammiest performances of his career, is the perfect bad guy.

And then there's Kelly Lynch. What a babe.

I was setup on a blind date sometime in the late 90's with a girl who still rocking that type of hairstyle. We got along well and I didn't call her back because of her stupid 80's hair. That's the dumb kind of shit you do when you're young.

If that date happened in 2018 I would have noticed her smoking hot body, beautiful smile and blue eyes but all I focused on was the hair.
