I understand your point of view...I really do...it is common sense IF you live in a country that can defend itself...it is easy for you to be cavalier about others arming up and wanting to feel safe inside your own country...

but IF you live in a country that has no possible way of defending itself the conventional way and IF you live in a world where war is for profit, then nothing is less important to you than if invaders feel safe or not...small countries are not obliged to keep up with the invaders military industrial complex, join military pacts, bend over to foreign demands etc etc...small countries have no obligation whatsoever to even give a fair fight to invaders...the safety of the invader is worth as much as second hand toilet paper...

now you will rightfully point out that "off" means "off" and that everybody will die...but when you are a small country you have 2 choices: nuke up or get USIS-ed....I would choose nuking up 1000x over being invaded by the next mickey mouse foreign lying piece of shit government that makes money from war...

1. Yes, I would blink long and hard before blowing both of us up with a grenade. Instead, I would try to build friendships and alliances with like-minded people. With hope, these people would help me deal with this person. The only way I am taking me out with him is if that is the last possible option and I am going to die anyway.

2. Having the attitude that the only way to solve a problem is by destroying everyone is exactly why people like you shouldn't have access to nuclear weapons.

3. Let me explain it to you in terms you may understand better: THE more nukes there are in the world, the more chances there are for those nukes to fall into the hands of crazy people. All the world needs is one of those crazy people to light off one of those nukes in a major city killing hundreds of thousands, if not millions, and it would likely start a global nuclear war that would end with everyone dead. While small countries may not be obligated to give a fair fight to invaders, they are obligated to not act like lunatics and destroy the world.

The poll, released Sunday, shows 47 percent of registered voters approve and 49 percent disapprove of Trump’s job in office. The approval rating is Trump’s highest yet as president, up from 44 percent last month, and is now higher than President Obama’s was before the 2010 midterm election.
