i don't see the affiliate links on this model's page anymore, so maybe for top models the rules are a bit different and they just got a warning and deleted the affiliate links

The rooms doing this now are getting a lot better at it, you pretty much have to mouse over to tell something is wrong.

A lot of the links I see look like this: https://chaturbate.com/shy_jane/ and it's easy to tell something is wrong.

This is pretty demoralizing for affiliates. The real answer is to limit what can be done on the bio pages. The cats out of the bag with this and everyone knows it can be exploited.

We’re addressing the problem with the profile makers directly, but it’s really not an issue to be concerned about. As AzteK points out, these tactics only associate a signup with the ‘overlay affiliate’ if the user was an anonymous, non-affiliated visitor. If an affiliate brings a new user to Chaturbate, they would receive credit since they were cookied first, even if the user clicks on the ‘overlay affiliate’ signup button.

Ok and if the user is visiting a WL directly without any affiliate code? 99% of my new users are going to my WLs not directly to CB, and they are landing there from SE mostly!

We remove all links to CB when on the Whitelabel, and if its a relative link to the signup with the another affiliates code then the Whitelabel will still get the signup.

Seems the company who makes the profiles has the overlay. Not the girls. So perhaps they make the bios for free and then charge them by having the reg link go to their account.
