Sri Lanka's population practices a variety of religions. As of the 2011 census 70.2% of Sri Lankans were Theravada Buddhists, 12.6% were Christians, 9.7% were Hindus and 7.4% Muslim and 0.1% other .

See that 12% of people in Sri Lanka are Christian... Meaning claiming it was all Christians who were attacked would be pretty fucking stupid and insulting for the majority of people in that country..

However you can't take 2 seconds to look up the religious make up of the country, you have to cry because Hillary & Obama said "words"...

No one is claiming that only Christians are dead, this was an attack primarily against the "infidels", westerners and christians alike, local buddhists hit are not part of the primary target even though also infidels in the eyes of these Muslims.

Further more Sri Lanka is a tourist hot spot and well-off westerners usually pick the luxury hotels.

In New Zealand's case no because up until then only Muslim's were really added, the attack in NZ changed that, its been reported over 15,000 now on that watch list... all blissfully unaware the feds are probing their every orifice.

And in Sri Lankas case, they did know, they did warn, but the Sri Lankan Government choose to do nothing but let it procced. America didn't even issue a travel warning over what's already in place, when they knew there was likely to be an terrorist event and the target was hotels and Christian churches.

The only place I could say I was an observer was Rarotonga, the singing and sight of the local women in their Sunday best dresses and hats is a blissful memory of being on the island.
